Jonah is a transgender filmmaker based in Seattle, with experience in production, distribution, and education. He is the Exhibition & Distribution Manager for 4th World Media. He managed print traffic for the Emmy and IDA award-nominated series Reciprocity Project, which screened at festivals around the world and on PBS. As director of photography, Jonah worked on the award-winning documentary Reflecting on Anti-Bias Education in Action and its 2024 follow-up feature on anti-bias parenting. He has served on the screening committee for Translations: Seattle Transgender Film Festival and collaborated with numerous film festivals during his time at Northwest Film Forum, where he led education and artist services programs.
